Reformation Technology, LLC can help you with your custom website development and hosting needs.  If appropriate, we will recommend the use of a web based content management system, such as Joomla or WebGUI.  By using a web based CMS your web site can be maintained by your own staff once the site is implemented.  If you host your website with us we will monitor and maintain the infrastructure that supports it.

Open Source software implementation and hosting

Reformation Technology, LLC is experienced in the implementation and hosting of multiple open source systems.  We have particular expertise in the implementation and hosting of web based content management systems, Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) phone systems, and security related software such as firewalls and Virtual Private Networks (VPN).  If you have other open source implementation or hosting needs there is a good chance we can help you with those too.

You can register and manage your domains through Reformation Technology, LLC's relationship with one of the premier domain registrars.  Through this relationship you can also purchase and manage additional services such as E-Mail (POP3 and IMAP accounts and hosted Microsoft Exchange), shared calendaring, shared file storage, and web hosting.

Cloud computing

Reformation Technology, LLC can help you lower hardware, software and IT support costs by moving selected processes to Internet based software providers.  We are currently focused on Google Apps which provides a robust cloud based collaboration system hosted under your existing domain name.  This Internet delivered service can replace most proprietary collaboration environments such as the Microsoft and Lotus Notes suites of products. 

E-mail is probably the most used collaborative tool in organizations today.  The e-mail experience provided by Google is superior, in many ways, to traditional Microsoft Exchange and Lotus Notes environments.  Google Apps provides 25GB of mail storage per user and leverages Google's search technology to make locating messages extremely fast.  In addition to e-mail, Google Apps includes calendaring, intranet and team based web content management, browser based word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software, a rich instant messaging client that support audio and video, mailing lists, and video storage.  These services can be easily and securely shared  inside and outside of your organization.

By using Google's Internet based solution you gain scalability, redundancy, and security that would be virtually impossible to achieve for similar costs.  In addition to these benefits, you are relieved of expense and effort of hardware and software upgrades as these are Google's responsibility.
