In part, Reformation Technology, LLC's name was inspired by the Latin phrase 'Post Tenebras, Lux' which when translated means 'After Darkness, Light'.  This phrase has been associated with the Protestant reformation and the recovery of biblical Christianity.

Just as the reformers were used to bring about transformational change in the church, Reformation Technology, LLC works with its clients to bring about transformational change in their businesses.  We help our clients "reform" their business processes through the innovative use of technology.

Our focus is on helping small and medium sized businesses navigate today's increasingly complex business and technology environment.  We provide firms with technical expertise to help them make decisions that can have a profound impact on their companies. In addition to providing assistance with decision making, Reformation Technology, LLC also works with its clients to successfully implement new technologies.

We are located in the Omaha Nebraska metro area, however, given the nature of our business we can service and support clients in just about any location.

Eric Kennedy

Eric founded Reformation Technology, LLC in August 2009.  Eric has been a strong proponent of open source software systems since the mid-1980s when he was first exposed to Internet and open source technologies.  Eric recommended and successfully implemented numerous open source systems in the organizations he has worked with.  These systems included operating systems, desktop software, collaboration systems, content management systems, network and Internet infrastructure systems, trouble ticket systems, source management systems, and development tools.

In addition to his experience with open source systems Eric is a seasoned senior technology executive who has been successful in varying roles including Chief Information Officer, Manager, Researcher, Strategist, Project Leader, Software Designer, Software Engineer, Consultant and Systems Integrator.   In these roles, Eric made strategic technology decisions and led organizations through transformational change. The scope of these changes included the non-disruptive elimination of legacy technology through the utilization of multiple strategies, the utilization of strategic outsourcing where appropriate, and the implementation of new technologies.

Throughout his career, Eric has acquired and developed the talent needed to deliver consistently strong results.  He is able to tackle difficult problems while taking into account the perspectives of multiple stakeholders and is able to communicate complex information to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Eric's specialties include strategic planning, troubleshooting and problem solving, system transformation and replacement, organizational management and improvement, open source software use and implementation, WebGUI open source content management system implementation and development, and application development.
